What is Proportional by Balance?
Proportional by Balance adjusts the trade volume for copiers based on the balance ratio between the signal provider and the copier's account.
For example, if the copiers balance is 357.96, the signals balance is 59.47, and the signal trades at 0.400 lot size. Then, a proportion of balance of 1 (=100%) gives:
Copier Balance/SIgnal Balance = 357.96/59.47 = 6.019169...
6.019169... x Signal lot size = 6.019169... x 0.4 = 2.407667...
2.407667 x 100% = 2.407667, which rounds to give 2.400 lots
