# I stopped copying a Signal but my trading account is still receiving copy trades.
Please double check that you have stopped copying the signal. For help on this matter, click [here](https://knowledgebase.pelicantrading.io/en/how-do-i-stop-copying-an-account?hsLang=en)or view Section 8 of our [User Guide](https://copytrade-resource.com/) for a visual walkthrough.
Please note that existing copy trades will remain open until the signal closes the 'master trade'.
